Obs:

When publishing the statistics in 2026, Statistics Norway (SSB) conducted a comprehensive review of the methodology used to produce upper secondary completion statistics. To ensure comparability over time, SSB has also published new time series for completion tables covering cohorts that started upper secondary education from 2014 through 2019. This means that the same improved production methodology has been applied to all cohorts, taking advantage of the richer set of variables and data now available in the National Education Database, on which the statistics are based. The new time series have been published as new versions of the previous tables, while the earlier versions of these tables have been discontinued in Statistics Bank Norway. For more information about these changes, see https://www.ssb.no/utdanning/videregaende-utdanning/statistikk/gjennomforing-i-videregaende-opplaering.
A person that has income from employment or self-employment that is greater than twice the Basic Amount of the National Insurance Scheme (so-called 'G', or 'grunnbeløpet'). The data has been perturbed to protect confidentiality, meaning that statistical disclosure control methods have been applied. As a result, the values contain a small degree of uncertainty.
With this suppression method cells with 0 (zero) pupils, can be a mix of real zeros and small values that would be revealing otherwise.
Starting in 2023, students registered in schools other than primary schools are not included.
