Obs:
Important break in time series! For the tests in English and mathematics the measurement of progress over time started in 2014, while it started in 2016 for the tests in reading. The measurement of progress over time was reset in 2022.
Footnotes
All test results for 5th and 8th grade for 2014-2021 are republished on November 13, 2025, with re-estimated score points and mastering levels (see the outdated test results under 'Closed time series').
Test results for 9th grade are not re-estimated for 2014-2021, and they are placed under 'Closed time series'. The test results for 2007-2013 are also placed under 'Closed time series'.
The data has been perturbed to protect confidentiality, meaning that statistical disclosure control methods have been applied. As a result, the values contain a small degree of uncertainty. With this suppression method cells with 0 (zero) pupils, can be a mix of real zeros and small values that would be revealing otherwise.
The test results for 2022-2024 are also updated on 13 November 2025 because of the implementation of the round off suppression method.
Results for small groups will be vulnerable to individual performance. Therefore, we have marked all cells with 10 or fewer pupils.
