From 2021 there is a new Labour Force Survey (LFS) and Learning Conditions Monitor (LCM) questionnaire, which leads to a break in the time series. From 2008 to 2020, LCM was conducted in the first quarter. From 2021, LCM is conducted throughout the whole year, in every quarter. Sample size has increased from around 18000 to 21000 people. 2021 figures for education level were corrected 14 March 2023. 2022 figures for ¿with learning-intensive work¿ were corrected 24 March 2023. Due to the reconstruction of the LFS in 2021 (see About the statistics for more information), the figures for education level between 2020 and 2021 are not comparable. The level of education is lower from 2021. This is linked to more use of register information (and thus less use of self-reporting) from 2021.
