Ssb.no uses the analytics tools Google Analytics and Siteimprove, each of which sets its own cookies.
We do not store your full IP address or any information that could identify individuals. Statistics Norway does not use the collected data for marketing purposes, nor is it shared across your devices.
We collect the following information:
- Number of users (devices)
- Number of sessions and their duration
- Approximate geolocation (town/city, county, country, continent)
- Browser type
- Device information (mobile, desktop, etc.), such as model, brand, device name, operating system, and screen resolution
- Clicks on links and downloads
We also occasionally use cookies in connection with our own user surveys to determine whether you have already been invited to participate in a survey.
