Good year for harvest of fruit

Total production of fruit in Norway is estimated to 18 300 tonnes in 2006, an increase of 4 800 tonnes from the year before.

Production of garden berries, fruit and vegetables. 1996-2006*. Tonnes

The total production of vegetables is estimated to 170 700 tonnes, which is five per cent lower than in 2005. Total production of garden berries is estimated to about 14 200 tonnes, an increase of 1 500 tonnes from 2005 to 2006.
