Solid increase in assessed taxes

Total assessed taxes for shipping companies assessed in accordance with the special rules for limited shipping companies increased by NOK 173 million and was NOK 509 million in 2005.

Assessed income tax almost doubled from NOK 268 million in 2004 to 500 million in 2005, while tonnage tax was reduced by NOK 41 million in the same period.
