Norwegian enterprises more indebted abroad
In 2014, the total external liabilities of Norwegian non-financial enterprises increased by 8.5 per cent, and the short-term liabilities had the highest increase. Of the total liabilities, nearly a third is categorised as short-term, which are due within one year, while long-term liabilities account for the remaining two thirds. The value of assets abroad increased by 8.4 per cent in 2014.
