Norwegian enterprises more indebted abroad

Total external liabilities of Norwegian non-financial enterprises were 3.6 per cent higher in the 3rd quarter of 2014 compared to the same quarter last year.

Short-term liabilities, which are debts due within one year, increased by almost 10 per cent, while long-term liabilities rose 1 per cent. In the same period, the value of assets abroad increased by 6.6 per cent.
