Strong growth for current assets abroad

The value of Norwegian non-financial enterprises’ current assets abroad rose by 10.1 per cent from the 4th quarter of 2013 to the 1st quarter of 2014. In the same period, the total assets in foreign countries increased 1.3 per cent, despite a small decline in the value of fixed assets. Compared to the 1st quarter of 2013, the value of total assets abroad was 4.1 per cent higher in the 1st quarter of 2014.
