One of three entrepreneurs are women

Almost one out of three new established sole proprietorships in Norway, are now set up by women. Female entrepreneurs choose traditional industries, and are most often found in industries that are typically female dominated.

The proportion of female board members is 17,8 per cent in public limited companies and 16,4 per cent in private limited companies.
