Boom in boat sales

Retail trade with boats had an increase in turnover of 33 per cent during first half in 2015 compared to the same period in 2014.

The total turnover in retail sales this period was more than NOK 216 billion; an increase of 3.1 per cent compared to the same period the year before. By comparison, the Index of retail sales also showed an increase of 3.1 per cent during the same period.

The turnover in boat sales was close to NOK 2 billion during the first six months in 2015; a growth of almost NOK 500 million from the year before.

In May and June (3rd period), the retail sales had a turnover of almost NOK 80 billion; an increase of 3.1 per cent from the 3rd period last year.

Increase in trade and repair of motor vehicles

Sales and repair of motor vehicles totaled NOK 111 billion in the first six months of 2015; a growth of 6.6 per cent compared to the same period in 2014.

In the third period, the sales and repair of motor vehicles increased by 8.3 per cent compared to the same period in 2014.

Wholesale of NOK 427 billion

The turnover in wholesale was NOK 427 billion during the first half of this year; an increase of 5.2 per cent from last year.

In the third period, the wholesale turnover was 6.4 per cent more than the same period in 2014.
