Retail sales up NOK 8.2 billion

Retail sales - with the exception of motor vehicles and petrol - increased by NOK 8.2 billion the first ten months in 2005 compared to the same period in 2004. This is equivalent to an increase of 4.3 per cent.

Retail sales increased by NOK 2.6 billion, or 5.7 per cent in September and October (the 5th period) in 2005 compared to the same period in 2004.

NOK 39.7 billion increase for wholesalers

Wholesalers increased sales by NOK 39.7 billion the first ten months in 2005 compared to the first ten months in 2004. This is equivalent to an increase of 8.3 per cent. In September and October 2005 wholesalers increased sales by 10.4 billion or 9.8 per cent compared to the same period in 2004.

Sales of automotive fuel rose by NOK 2.3 billion

Sales of automotive fuel rose by 2.3 billion or 7.8 per cent the first ten months in 2005 compared to the same period in 2004. Retail sales of motor vehicles increased by NOK 3.6 billion or 4.7 per cent, during this period. Sales of automotive fuel and motor vehicles rose by 10.1 and 3.0 per cent respectively, in September and October 2005 compared to the same period 2004.
