NOK 1.2 billion on hair and beauty

The turnover within hairdressing and other beauty treatments in September and October of 2008 increased 9 per cent compared with the same period in the previous year. The turnover of washing and dry cleaning of textile and fur products increased the most.

Service statistics. NOK million

In washing and dry cleaning of textile and fur products, the turnover was NOK 378 million in the fifth period; an increase of 12 per cent compared with the same period in the previous year.

The turnover in hairdressing and other beauty treatments was NOK 1 212 million; an increase of 9 per cent compared with the same period in 2007.

Funeral and related activities had a turnover of NOK 182 million in September and October of 2008; an increase of 11 per cent compared with the same period in 2007.
