NOK 1.7 billion within personal services

The turnover within personal services in the fourth period of 2008 was NOK 1.7 billion; an increase of 4 per cent compared to the same period last year. The turnover within funeral agencies and businesses in related activities increased most.

Service statistics. NOK million

Funeral agencies and businesses in related activities had a turnover of NOK 175 million; an increase of 5 per cent compared with the same period the year before.

The turnover in hairdressing and other beauty treatment was NOK 1 148 million in the fourth period 2008. This is 4 per cent higher than the same period in 2007.

In washing and dry cleaning of textile and fur products, the turnover was NOK 360 million in the fourth period; an increase of 3 per cent compared with the same period last year.
