Steady rise in hair and beauty spending

In May and June 2007, the turnover in hairdressing and other beauty treatment was NOK 1 182 million. This is an increase of 6 per cent compared with the same period in 2006.

Service Statistics. NOK million

The turnover in washing and dry cleaning of textile and fur products was NOK 328 million in May and June, a 71 per cent increase compared with the same period in 2006.

Funeral agencies and businesses in related activities had a turnover of approximately NOK 170 million in May and June, an increase of 61 per cent compared with the same period in 2006.
