Spending on services continues to increase

In the first half of 2006, the turnover in hairdressing and other beauty treatment was NOK 2.9 billion This is an increase of 4 per cent compared with the same period in 2005.

Service Statistics. Development in turnover 2001-2006

In the 3rd period of 2006 the turnover was approximately NOK 1.1 billion, a 7 per sent increase compared to the same period in 2005

The turnover in washing and dry cleaning of textile and fur products was NOK 305 million in May and June of 2006. This is an increase of 5 per sent cent increase compared with the same period in 2005.

Funeral agencies and businesses in related activities had a turnover of approximately NOK 160 million in May and June, a 6 per cent increase compared with the same period in 2005.
