7 per cent increase in hair and beauty

In July and August 2005, the turnover in hairdressing and other beauty treatment came to NOK 882 million. This is an increase of 7 per cent compared with the same period in 2004.

The turnover in washing and dry cleaning of textile and fur products was NOK 288 million in July and August of 2005, a 2 per cent increase compared with the same period in 2004.

Funeral agencies and businesses in related activities had a turnover of approximately NOK 142 million in July and August. This is an increase of 4 per cent compared with the same period in 2004.
