Spending on hair and beauty continues to increase

In March and April 2005, the turnover in hairdressing and other beauty treatment was NOK 922 million. This is an increase of 5 per cent compared with the same period in 2004.

The turnover in washing and dry cleaning of textile and fur products was NOK 265 million in March and April of 2005, a 4 per cent decrease compared with the same period in 2004.

Funeral agencies and businesses in related activities had a turnover of approximately NOK 152 million in March and April. This is an increase of 9 per cent compared with the same period in 2004.
