Growth in hairdressing and beauty

The turnover in hairdressing and other beauty treatment was NOK 856 million in the second period (March and April) of 2004. This is 8 per cent higher than in the corresponding period in 2003.

Washing and dry cleaning of textile and fur products saw turnover grow by 7 per cent to NOK 272 million in the second period of 2004 compared with the same period in 2003.

Funeral and related activities had a turnover of NOK 137 million. This represents an increase of 10 per cent compared with the same period in 2003.
