Hairdressing and beauty up 5 per cent

The turnover in hairdressing and other beauty treatment was NOK 821 million in the 5th period (September and October) of 2003. This is an increase of 5 per cent compared to the same period of 2002.

The industry funeral and related activities had a turnover of NOK 135 million, equivalent to an increase of 6 per cent compared with the 5th period of 2002.

The turnover in washing and dry cleaning of textile and fur products in the 5th period of 2003 was NOK 276 million. This is NOK 4 million more than in the same period of 2002, and represents an increase of 1 per cent.
