Hairdressing for NOK 729 million

Hairdressers and beauty salons had a turnover of NOK 729 million in the 1st period of 2003. This is an increase of 3 per cent compared with the corresponding period in 2002.

The total turnover in the washing and dry cleaning industry was almost NOK 255 million in January and February of 2003. This is roughly the same turnover as in the 1st period of 2002.

For the industry funeral and related activities the turnover was NOK 133 million in the 1st period of 2003. This represents an increase of 8 per cent compared with the corresponding period the year before.
