The local kind-of-activity-units that operate within washing and dry-cleaning of textile and fur products had a turnover of NOK 2.5 billion in 2014. This is an increase of 2.4 per cent compared to 2013.

The employment decreased by 2.3 per cent, to 2 558 persons. The compensation of employees amounted to a total of NOK 1 billion, a decrease of 1.3 per cent compared to 2013.

NOK 9.4 billion for hairdressing and beauty treatment

The largest class within other service statistics is hairdressing and beauty treatment, which had a total turnover of NOK 9.4 billion in 2014, an increase of 5.1 per cent compared to 2013. A total of 17 416 persons were employed, an increase of 3.1 per cent compared to 2013. The compensation of employees amounted to a total of NOK 3.9 billion, an increase of 6.4 per cent.

NOK 2.5 billion for repairs

The local-kind-of-activity units within repair of computers and personal household goods had a turnover of NOK 2.5 billion in 2014. The group repair of computers and communication equipment experienced an increase of 18.1 per cent in turnover to a total of NOK 1.4 billion. The units operating within repair of personal and household goods had a total turnover of NOK 1.1 billion, unchanged compared to 2013.

The gross investments within other service statistics were NOK 396 million in 2014.
