Up 10.5 per cent for petrol stations

Compared to August 2007, turnover of petrol stations in Norway increased by 10.5 per cent, or NOK 401.5 million. The total turnover was NOK 4.2 billion in August this year.

The turnover of engine fuel and lubricant made NOK 3.3 billion, NOK 411.2 million more than August last year. This is equivalent to a rise of 14.4 per cent. In the same period, everyday commodities and food service increased by 0.9 and 1.4 per cent respectively.

10.6 per cent the first eight months

The first eight months this year, the turnover of petrol stations rose by 10.6 per cent or NOK 3.0 billion, compared with the same period last year. The sales of engine fuel and lubricants increased almost NOK 3.0 billion. This is equivalent to a rise of 14.2 per cent.
