Up 12 per cent for petrol stations

Compared to July 2007, turnover of petrol stations in Norway increased by 11.9 per cent, or NOK 473 million. The total turnover was NOK 4.5 billion in July this year.

The turnover of engine fuel and lubricant made NOK 3.4 billion, NOK 459.6 million more than July last year. This is equivalent to a rise of 15.6 per cent. In the same period, everyday commodities and food service increased by 0.9 and 0.5 per cent respectively.

10.6 per cent the first seven months

The first seven months this year, the turnover of petrol stations rose by 10.6 per cent or NOK 2.6 billion, compared with the same period last year. The sales of engine fuel and lubricants increased by NOK 2.5 billion. This is equivalent to a rise of 14.2 per cent.
