Minor changes in retail sales

The seasonally-adjusted volume index of retail sales increased by 0.2 per cent from September to October 2010.

Retail sales volume index seasonally adjusted. 2002-2010

The non-adjusted volume index decreased by 0.8 per cent from October 2009 to October 2010. During the same period, the volume index, excluding petrol stations, decreased by 0.5 per cent.

From October last year to October this year the value index decreased by 0.9 per cent, and the value index excluding petrol stations decreased by 1.4 per cent.
