Retail sales up
The seasonally adjusted volume index of retail sales increased by 3.7 per cent from April 2006 to May 2006.
The volume index not adjusted increased by 9.1 per cent in May 2006 compared with May 2005.
The value index of retail sales increased by 8.5 per cent in May 2006 compared with May 2005.
