Decrease in the external loan debt

From November to December the external debt to non-financial enterprises, municipalities and households experienced a decrease of NOK 6.2 billion, to a total of NOK 529.4 billion.

The public enterprises decreased their external loan debt with NOK 29.3 billion to 130.4 billion. It was the short term loan debt that decreased with 24.7 billion to 34.8 billion. At the same time the private enterprises increased their loan debt to foreign countries by NOK 20.3 million to 389.1 billion.

The long term loan debt increased with 27.8 billion to 329.8 billon, while the short term loan debt decreased with 7.4 billion.
