A large increase in salmon export price

In the period from 13 March – 19 March the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 61.98 per kilo. This is an increase of 6.2 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 15 294 tonnes in the period 13 March – 19 March. This is 2.0 per cent less than in the previous week, 6 March – 12 March, when exported volume was 15 606 tonnes.

 

Norway exported 629 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 65.39 per kilo in the period 13 March – 19 March.
