Decline in salmon export price

In the period from 27 February – 5 March the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 59.55 per kilo. This is a decrease of 5.8 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 15 774 tonnes in the period 27 February – 5 March. This is 3.0 per cent more than in the previous week, 20 February – 26 February, when exported volume was 15 311 tonnes. 

Norway exported 649 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 69.88 per kilo in the period 27 February – 5 March.
