Decline in salmon export price

In the period from 6 February – 12 February the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 64.96 per kilo. This is a decrease of 1.6 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 14 901 tonnes in the period 6 February – 12 February. This is 3.3 per cent more than in the previous week, 30 January – 5 February, when exported volume was 14 426 tonnes.

Norway exported 584 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 72.02 per kilo in the period 6 February – 12 February.
