A drop in salmon export price

In the period from 30 January – 5 February the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 66.01 per kilo. This is a decrease of 6.2 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 14 426 tonnes in the period 30 January – 5 February. This is 2.0 per cent more than in the previous week, 23 January – 29 January, when exported volume was 14 137 tonnes. 

Norway exported 272 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 72.33 per kilo in the period 30 January – 5 February.
