Decrease in salmon export price

In the period from 9 January – 15 January 2017 the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 72.42 per kilo. This is a decrease of 3.8 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 13 217 tonnes in the period 9 January – 15 January. This is 10.6 per cent more than in the previous week, 2 January – 8 January, when exported volume was 11 950 tonnes.

Norway exported 263 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 63.01 per kilo in the period 9 January – 15 January.
