Increase in salmon export price

In the period from 19 December – 25 December the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 73.09 per kilo. This is an increase of 5.5 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 15 026 tonnes in the period 19 December – 25 December. This is 22.7 per cent less than in the previous week, 12 December – 18 December when exported volume was 19 450 tonnes. Note that weeks including Christmas and New Year normally show lower export volumes. 

Norway exported 363 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 69.34 per kilo in the period 19 December – 25 December.
