A large increase in salmon export price

In the period from 9 May – 15 May the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 62.19 per kilo. This is a substantial increase of 9.3 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 17 283 tonnes in the period 9 May – 15 May, up 23.2 per cent compared to the period 2 May – 8 May.

Norway exported 286 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 51.49 per kilo in the period 9 May – 15 May.
