A small decrease in salmon export prices

In the period from 28 March – 3 April the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 61.98 per kilo. This is a small decrease of 0.8 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 13 750 tons in the period 28 March – 3 April, a substantial increase of 32.1 per cent compared to the period 21 March – 27 March. As in previous years, the salmon export was low in Easter week.

Norway exported 173 tons of frozen salmon at NOK 52.70 per kilo in the period 28 March – 3 April.
