A large increase in salmon export prices

In the period from 21 March – 27 March the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 62.51 per kilo. This is a considerable increase of 8.0 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 10 405 tons in the period 21 March – 27 March, a larger decrease of 42.0 per cent compared to the period 14 March – 20 March. As in previous years, the salmon export was low in Easter week.

Norway exported 333 tons of frozen salmon at NOK 52.85 per kilo in the period 21 March – 27 March.
