A major fall in salmon export prices

In the period from 18 January – 24 January the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 54.56 per kilo. This is a considerable fall of 11.5 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 16 115 tons in the period 18 January – 24 January, up 10.0 per cent compared to the period 11 January – 17 January.

 

Norway exported 445 tons of frozen salmon at NOK 47.31 per kilo in the period 18 January – 24 January.
