A large increase in salmon export price

In the period from 11 January – 17 January the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 61.64 per kilo. This is an increase of 7.6 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period. It is also the first time the export price is over NOK 60 a kilogram.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 14 655  tonnes in the period 11 January – 17 January, up 3.4 per cent compared to the period 4 January – 10 January.

Norway exported 414 tons of frozen salmon at NOK 49.38 per kilo in the period 11 January – 17 January.
