Increase in salmon export price

In the period from 30 November – 6 December the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 50.06 per kilo. This is an increase of 2.6 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period, and the first time since the year-end 2013 / 2014 the weekly price has reached NOK 50 per kg.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 19 802 tonnes in the period 30 November – 6 December, up 4.8 per cent compared to the period 23 November – 29 November.

Norway exported 563 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 45.24 per kilo in the period 30 November – 6 December.
