Substantial rise in salmon export price

In the period from 31 August – 6 September the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 43.03 per kilo. This is a large increase of 10.2 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 17 227 tonnes in the period 31 August – 6 September, down 0.7 per cent compared to the period 24 August – 30 August.

Norway exported 357 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 40.82 per kilo in the period 31 August – 6 September.
