A large increase in salmon export price

In the period from 11 May – 17 May the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 39.96 per kilo. This a considerable rise of 8.0 per cent, compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 15 948 tonnes in the period 11 May – 17 May, down 9.4 per cent compared to the period 4 May – 11 May.

Norway exported 508 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 39.53 per kilo in the period 11 May – 17 May.
