A small increase in salmon export price

In the period from 5 January – 11 January 2015 the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 45.77 per kilo. This is a small increase of 0.4 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 15 622 tonnes in the period 5 January – 11 January, up 65.0 per cent compared to the period 29 December 2014 – 4 January 2015. Note that weeks including Christmas and New Year normally show low export volumes.

Norway exported 379 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 46.74 per kilo in the period 5 January – 11 January.
