Drop in export price of fresh salmon

In the period from 6 January to 12 January, the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 48.75 per kilo. This is decrease of 3.2 per cent from the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 15 118 tonnes in the period from 6 January to 12 January, a large rise of 61.8 per cent from the period 30 December to 5 January. Note that weeks including Christmas and New Year normally show low export volumes.

Norway exported 352 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 44.49 per kilo in the period from 6 January to 12 January.
