A small decrease in export price of fresh salmon

In the period from 30 December to 5 January, the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 50.34 per kilo. This is a small decrease of 0.5 per cent from the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 9 341 tonnes in the period from 30 December to 5 January, a considerable rise of 31.6 per cent from the period 23 December to 29 December and 1 000 tons less than in the same week a year back. Note that weeks including Christmas and New Year normally show low export volumes.

Norway exported 143 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 45.44 per kilo in the period from 30 December to 5 January.
