Increase in export prices of fresh salmon

In the period from 10 December to 16 December, the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 30.78 per kilo. This is an increase of 5.6 per cent from the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 23 674 tonnes in the period from 10 December to 16 December, an increase of 8.1 per cent from the period 3 December to 9 December.

Norway exported 772 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 28.92 per kilo in the period from 10 December to 16 December.

Due to changes in the Norwegian customs nomenclature 2012 the selected commodity numbers for fresh salmon are 03.02.1411 and 03.02.1419 and frozen salmon 03.03.1311 and 03.03.1319. In 2011 the commodity numbers were 03.02.1201, 03.02.1202, 03.03.2201 and 03.03.2202.
