Decline in export prices of fresh salmon

In the period from 19 November to 25 November, the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 26.63 per kilo. This is a decrease of 4.0 per cent from the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 19 372 tonnes in the period from 19 November to 25 November, an increase of 5.0 per cent from the period 12 November to 18 November.

Norway exported 1 002 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 30.04 per kilo in the period from 19 November to 25 November.

Due to changes in the Norwegian customs nomenclature 2012 the selected commodity numbers for fresh salmon are 03.02.1411 and 03.02.1419 and frozen salmon 03.03.1311 and 03.03.1319. In 2011 the commodity numbers were 03.02.1201, 03.02.1202, 03.03.2201 and 03.03.2202.
