Export price of fresh salmon - NOK 31.27 per kilo

In the period from 14 May to 20 May, the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 31.27 per kilo. This is an increase of 7.6 per cent from the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 14 425 tonnes in the period from 14 May to 20 May, a decline of 12.7 per cent from the period 7 May to 13 May.

Norway exported 542 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 30.12 per kilo in the period from 14 May to 20 May.

Due to changes in the Norwegian customs nomenclature 2012 the selected commodity numbers for fresh salmon are 03.02.1411 and 03.02.1419 and frozen salmon 03.03.1311 and 03.03.1319. In 2011 the commodity numbers were 03.02.1201, 03.02.1202, 03.03.2201 and 03.03.2202.
