Increase in export prices of fresh salmon

In the period from 10 January to 16 January, the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 39.96 per kilo. This is an increase of 4 per cent from the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 11 133 tonnes in the period from 10 January to 16 January, an increase of 19.6 per cent from the period 3 January to 9 January. Note that weeks around Christmas and New Year may show large changes in export volumes.

Norway exported 789 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 41.85 per kilo in the period from 10 January to 16 January.
