Decrease in export prices of fresh salmon

In the period from 3 January to 9 January, the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 38.43 per kilo. This is a decrease of 4.8 per cent from the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 9 309 tonnes in the period from 3 January to 9 January, an increase of 20.1 per cent from the period 27 December to 2 January. Note that weeks which include Christmas and New Year normally show low export volumes.

Norway exported 518 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 39.64 per kilo in the period from 3 January to 9 January.
