Decrease in export prices of fresh salmon

In the period from 27 December to 2 January, the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 40.37 per kilo. This is a decrease of 6.6 per cent from the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 7 752 tonnes in the period from 27 December to 2 January, a decrease of 27.6 per cent from the period 20 December to 26 December. Note that weeks which include Christmas and New Year normally show low export volumes.

Norway exported 483 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 41.14 per kilo in the period from 27 December to 2 January.
